There’s something about nuts and the festive season that goes extremely well hand-in-hand. Make these bite-sized treats good for munch n’ crunch over catching up with friends and family for Chinese New Year. They’re delicious, healthy and straightforward to make!
INGREDIENTS
- 45 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 25 g all-purpose flour
- 50 ml water
- 50 g white sesame seeds
- 50 g black sesame seeds
- 100 g pumpkin seeds
- 100 g sunflower seeds
- 100 g almond flakes
STEPS
01.
Combine butter, sugar, all-purpose flour and water. Mix well.

Mix all the seeds and almond flakes together. Set aside.
03.
Line baking tray with baking sheet.
04.
Spread mixture evenly on tray and sprinkle seeds on it.
05.
Preheat oven to 180 C.
06.
Bake for 10 mins, until golden brown.
07.
Remove from oven and set to cool.
